Balmain x H&M

If you know me, you know Bailmain is hands down my favorite fashion designer. So you can expect my excitement when Olivier Rousteing hit the red carpet of the of the Billboard Music Awards with model friends Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn both rocking debuted looks from his collection with H&M.

The collection is set to hit 250 H&M stores worldwide and online starting November 5, 2015. I am so excited to see what the genius mind of Rousteing has in store for his fans. I also loved what he had to say about his inspiration for the new collection:

"I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain, get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fueled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it," says Olivier Rousteing.

Although H&M has done collaborated collections with high-fashion designers like Versace and Alexander Wang I have a good feeling that Balmain is going to blow it out of the water. Can't wait for this to happen!

Met Gala Trends: Who Wore it Best?

The top three booty-licious celebs all hit the Met Gala red carpet rocking similar silhouettes to show off their sexy figures.

Which was your favorite? xx

Jennifer Lopez looked fuego in this Atelier Versace sheer, red embroidered, one shoulder gown. She can literally do no wrong and always glows on the red carpet. I love how she paired it with long, slicked back hair and statement jewels by Sutra.

I definitely think this is Kim's all time red-carpet moment. She looks so elegant, classy, sexy and perfectly put together. I am in LOVE with this Roberto Cavalli long sleeve, backless, sheer gown with beautiful white beaded lace and a gorgeous train of soft feathers. Peter Dundas designed this as his first dress since returning to the fashion house. Amazing.

Last, but certainly not least. The Queen B shows up fashionably late in this Givenchy Couture gown looking FLAWLESS. She certainly made head turns showing off her signature figure while still looking like a classic goddess. She can do no wrong in my eyes and this moment is just one more reason why I will forever be a Beyonce fan.

Met Gala 2015

I LOVE THE MET GALA!

Its by far my favorite red carpet to watch all year.

This year's exhibit is called "China: Through the Looking Glass" and is dedicated to Chinese fashion. The theme showcases Chinese art and rare artifacts as well as dresses interpreting Chinese design. There were so many amazing gowns on the red carpet tonight but I have put together some of my top favorites! xx

Kendall Jenner stuns in a light green Calvin Klein fully-beaded gown with just the right combination of cut-out and cleavage. Its glamorous yet sexy and she looks absolutely STUNNING. It reminds me of old Hollywood glam with a just a hint of modern fashion.

Amanda Seyfried wears this stunning Givenchy white embroidered gown. I love the high neck line with her slicked back hair. She pulled the look together with minimal eye makeup, deep marroon colored lips and matching jewels.

Jourdan Dunn and Rose Byrne both look amazing wearing beautiful similar deep red gowns. I am in love this this color and the intricate details in these gowns. They both look gorgeous.

Jourdan Dunn wears Burberry
Rose Byrne wears Calvin Klein

You know you're going to look good when you hit the red carpet with Tom Ford himself. The deisgner arrived with Rita Ora looking gorgeous in this satin red gown.

I love this custom Fausto Puglisi gown that Zendaya rocked. It truely is a piece of art and really relates to the "Chinese Fashion" Theme of this years exhibit.

Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway both glow in metallic gold gowns.

Kate Hudson looks beautiful as always in this metallic lace Michael Kors Gown. I love how she too played with the idea of Chinese Fashion with her high bun and cat-eye makeup.

Anne Hathaway is giving us Geisha Glam with her gold hooded Ralph Lauren capped sleeve gown. I feel like she was making a statement by wearing the hood and absolutely rocked it. I give her props for not being afraid to take a risk.

90's Fashion

I was looking at some old childhood photo's from the 90's and started thinking about what an era that was for fashion!

I began reminiscing and realized how much fun the 90's were. Before the internet, social media, no one really cared what others thought and I love that. People weren't afraid to take risks when it came to fashion. It was all about having fun and expressing yourself.

Although some of it was pretty atrocious, some looks were pretty epic and its clear that a lot of the trends are now back in style.

Here are some images I found I thought you might find interesting. Enjoy! xx

Moschino done RIGHT!

Although I love the wacky, over-the-top thrill of watching a Moschino Runway Show, it was never quite my taste. I never really understood the esthetic they were trying to portray but this time I finally get it. I absolutely LOVE everything about this runway show! Those Looney-Toon sweater dresses are so awesome and I want every one of them! Bravo to Jeremy Scott for an amazing show! Check out some of my favorite looks from this years FW15 Collection. xx
