Street Style: London Fashion Week

I'm noticing quite a bit of plaid trending the streets of London this week! I'm loving it! Which look is your favorite? xx

Behind The Scenes

Over the weekend, I got the pleasure to model some accessories from my friends boutique; Carousels and Lace. I've worked on a lot of photo shoots, but this was my first time being IN FRONT of the camera! I was a little shy at first but once I got the hang of it, I'm not going to lie, I kinda loved it!

I styled all the looks myself by using pieces from my own personal wardrobe and accessorized with pieces from Carousels and Lace Boutique! My friend Sasha Fischman, who owns the boutique, started up the business by selling vintage pieces from her mothers archive over the years and has some really cute stuff! Check it out by clicking the link below!

It was a really great day and we had a lot of fun! I wanted to share with you some behind the scenes pics and I will post more about my outfits when I get the final images :) xx

Kendall Jenner / Marc Jacobs Fall '14 Fashion Show

Kendall Jenner looks FIERCE walking in the Marc Jacobs Runway Show today! I hardly recongnized  her with the bleached brows, pale makeup and short haircut. This is a surprise to me I had no idea she was walking in his show but I love it! Her modeling career is going to sky rocket from this, I think she killed it and looks amazing! Kendall is signed to Society Management who also reps Adriana Lima so I can predict a bright modeling future for the 18-year-old.

Marchesa / J. Mendel / NYFW Fall 2014

There have been so many amazing runway shows this year during NYFW but I am obsessing over J. Mendel and Marchesa right now! Here are a few images of my favorite looks from their collections. xx

Marchesa
Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig did an outstanding job with this collection and I absolutely love this duo and the work they do for Marchesa! I love the hair and makeup they used to combine with the story of the collection. While watching the runway show I can already picture some big name actresses wearing some of these pieces for the Oscars coming up. ;)

J. Mendel
Seriously though, I am dying over this collection. I want everything. The colors, the textures, the fur, the leather and how it is all so perfectly put together is genius. Gilles Mendel always manages to make a statement without having to go over the top and I love that about him.

Yotam Solomon

I had so much fun the other night at my friend Yotam Solomon's Trunk Show Event! Yotam is an LA based fashion designer who's collections execute sexiness, class and elegance. He designs women's apparel and shoes and everything is amazing! We had so much fun checking out all of his past and present collections at his beautiful hollywood hills home! We listened to great music, sipped champagne  and played a little dress up! For more information on Yotam Solomon check out the link below. xx

NYFW Fall RTW 2014

Although it has supposedly been a horrific winter in NY this year, I wish I could be there this week for Fashion Week! I am living vicariously through all my friends pictures and stalking all the runway shows as much as possible. I have gathered a few of my favorite looks from some of my favorite designers who have showcased their collections so far. I will post some more shortly! xx

Helmut Lang
The dynamic husband-wife duo, Nicole & Michael Colovos, always know how to put on a captivating show with all the spot on trends for Fall'14. I really love the oversized fuzzy fur sweaters, pairing red with nude latex, and graphic photo-prints. I also love how chic white looks in the fall (if styled the right way of course).

Jason Wu
I am obsessed with this collection! Jason Wu really surprised everyone with how different this collection is from anything else he has done. It gives off a powerful, feminine vintage vibe yet still extremely modern. I love the different shades of lavender he used paired with black and beige.

Rag & Bone
I always anticipate the Rag & Bone runway show. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville always do a great job of displaying a chic, high-fashion, trendy collection which is wearable to the average fashionista woman. I love the plaid mixed with pops of red and paint splattered details they used. They always put on a great show that is appealing to women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

2014

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and new year! I know it has been a minute since my last post but I made a commitment to myself that I will focus more time into my blog this year!

A lot has changed in my life over the past couple of months. I moved from NY to LA, started a new job at a Fashion PR company, and am really loving it out on the West Coast! Not going to lie it was hard to adjust at first, especially since my beloved little yorkie, Bailey, passed away 2 weeks after our arrival. She was my little sidekick for the past 6 years and not a day goes by that I don't think about her and all the happiness she brought me. If any of you have lost a pet, you know the feeling. Fortunately, I have an amazing support system from my friends and family who always seem to help me through any hardship that comes my way.

I am finally feeling adjusted and comfortable out here and have met some amazing people so far! I live in a beautiful apartment in West Hollywood with my best friend from back home. California is an amazing place and so different from the East Coast. I am obsessed with all the mountain views and can't wait to explore everything this state has to offer. I feel really blessed to be given the opportunity to be out here and am truly loving it! I wanted to start off my first post of the year with a couple personal pictures from since I've been out here - so here you go! xx

Bailey
Forever in my heart<3

 Halloween 2013
People in West Hollywood take this holiday very seriously! It was so much fun walking the streets of Santa Monica Blvd and seeing all the amazing costumes! I clearly put my costumes together so last minute but still had a great time :)

 Runyon Canyon
I would say this is the most popular place to hike in LA - gorgeous views of the city!

Venice with the boys!
I liked Venice Beach a lot. Really cool laid back vibe that kinda reminded me of the feeling I get when I'm in Brooklyn. It has a lot of cool little shops and restaurants with gorgeous sunset views!

Malibu
I am seriously obsessed with this place. The views of the mountains and beaches are phenomenal!
