Paris Fashion Week: Balmain Fall'14 RTW

If you know me, you know one of my favorite designers is Balmain. I think Olivier Rousteing is an absolute fashion genius and I have become slightly obsessed with his story and journey to fashion royalty. The French designer was adopted and raised in Bordeaux, France. At the young age of 25 he was named Creative Director for Balmain, gaining full control of production for both men's and women's ready-to-wear collections.

I love all of his work and truly admire his fearless approach to the fashion world. "I'm French, I'm black, and I'm proud to be at Balmain, but this is a message of freedom and globalism" say's the designer about his Fall'14 Collection. The jungle safari theme is everything and Rousteing did an awesome job at expressing his message. His collections are works of art and the detail that goes into each one of his looks is phenomenal.
